Clethodim is a herbicide tused to control annual and perennial grasses. It is highly soluble in water and has a low volatility. It tends not to be persistent in soil or aquatic systems. It is moderately toxic to birds, fish, aquatic plants, honey bees and earthworms but is less toxic to aquatic invertebrates and algae.

Applications of  Clethodim

Clethodim can be used as a post-emergent herbicide, a stem and leaf treatment agent with high selectivity and systemic conduction. It is used to control a variety of annual and multi-local grass weeds. For annual gramineous weeds, it is advisable to apply pesticides at the 3-5 leaf stage, and for perennial gramineous weeds, it is advisable to apply after dividing leaves. Plantations such as soybeans, peanuts, rapeseed, cotton, flax, tobacco, various broad-leaved vegetables, grapes, citrus, apples, etc. can be applied from the second leaf to the tillering stage of grass weeds. It is used to control annual grass weeds such as barnyardgrass, wild oats, green foxtail, crabgrass, goosegrass, scorpion, barnyardgrass, and daughter of a daughter. Appropriately increasing the dosage can control perennial weeds such as imperata, Arabian sorghum, and bermudagrass and some resistant annual grass weeds. For soybean field weeding, use 24% emulsifiable oil 408~600mL/hm2, spray on water stems and leaves.
